Dara Torre provides project coordination and operational support for RAP’s U.S. team. She serves as project manager for a variety of U.S. projects, assists with grants management and provides logistical and administrative support for the team. Torre brings 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, including study administration and grants management for the Colorado AIDS Clinical Trials Unit. Since settling in Vermont in 2000, she has been engaged in local resilience and community building as a municipal official, grant writer and volunteer board member. In 2023, Dara Torre began serving in the Vermont General Assembly as a state representative. She joined RAP in 2016.
Torre graduated from Oberlin College with a bachelor’s in history and a minor in government. She holds a certificate in nonprofit management from Marlboro College and recently received a certificate in climate change and public health from Yale School of Public Health.
