Shravya Reddy helps manage RAP’s ongoing projects and initiatives in India and contributes to the organization’s efforts to grow its impact in strategic geographies beyond its core regions.
Prior to joining RAP in 2022, Reddy was an independent consultant on climate change and low-carbon development, advising public sector clients in Africa and emerging markets on decarbonization challenges. Before her work as an independent, she was a principal (and managing principal) at Pegasys Global, a sustainable development strategy and management consulting firm. During her time there, she ran the climate change practice and assisted African governments with climate resilience and clean energy solutions.
Much of her career has been in the nonprofit sector, including early stints at Earthjustice International and the Clinton Foundation's Climate Initiative, plus key roles at the Natural Resources Defense Council in New York City and the Climate Reality Project in Washington, D.C.
She has a law degree from India’s National University of Juridical Sciences and a master’s in international affairs and environmental policy studies from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
Shravya Reddy was born and brought up in New Delhi, India. She is fluent in English and Hindi and conversant in Telugu. She is based in Cape Town, South Africa, her home since 2014.
